Family, friends and colleagues gathered to honor Barbara Fass Leavy (1936-2016) at NYC’s Metropolitan Room. Co-hosted by Bernie Furshpan and Frank Dain, with musical direction by Ian Herman and with Tom Hubbard on bass, 14 performers and seven speakers were on hand to honor Barbara—our Cabaret Scenes writer, teacher, author, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Through songs and stories the 21 people who took to the stage remembered Barbara for her intelligence, support and grace.
