Stu Hamstra, founder/publisher/editor of Cabaret Hotline, passed away on Thursday, April 13 at the age of 77. He was one of the most vocal and visible cheerleaders for cabaret for many years, first through the print edition of his Cabaret Hotline, and then on the web with Cabaret Hotline Online. He supported all performers, from the big names to those new on the scene, and could be found in clubs across the city. He will be missed.
