Magic Moments:
An Evening of Performance and Conversation
Remembering Hal David

June 12 at 8:30 pm

92nd Street Y
Lexington at 92nd St., NYC

Dionne Warwick

Hal David’s classics — like “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head,” “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” “Alfie,” and “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again” — all with music by Burt Bacharach, are songs that defined an era. They were recorded and performed by some of the most beloved artists of the 20th century. The Academy Award and Grammy-winning lyricist served as President of ASCAP’s Board of Directors, Chairman of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and was the recipient of the coveted Gershwin Prize Award conferred at the White House by President Obama.

Hal’s devoted widow, Eunice David, leads a very special evening of musical tributes and memories as Dionne Warwick (pictured), Liz Callaway, and Karen Mason perform David’s great songs and share stories of his music, his career, his family, and his life. Television and radio host A. J. Hammer moderates.
