heather-moran-cabaret-scenes-magazine_212Sirens of Song: An Acoustic Her-story is an acoustic musical exploration of the most influential female vocalists of contemporary pop and rock history. Guitarist Steve Gritman and vocalist Heather Moran, along with multi-percussionist Patrick Ryan, have deftly created their own interpretive arrangements, featuring the songs from some of the most influential woman in music history. From Bonnie Raitt to Adele and from Joni Mitchell to Pink, the Gritman & Moran Band share influential stories and music of the great vocalists in contemporary music history.

“…Even if she hadn’t been evoking the style and era of Clooney, Heather Moran would have deserved the ovations she received for the bloom of her tone and the nuance of her interpretations…” — Chicago Tribune

“Moran has a serious set of chops. It’s equally clear that she knows how to use them.” —  Broadwayworld.com

“Moran’s voice is hauntingly evocative of eras past, but the spirit that emerges from these songs distinctly says, ‘now’ and ‘today.’ Here’s charming and compelling new jazz/pop presence. You’re sure to be hearing more from  Heather Moran. Justice, not to mention good taste, demands it.” — DownBeat Magazine
