In anticipation of the fall release of her upcoming album, The Essential Liz Callaway, Liz returns to New York’s Metropolitan Room for one night only in For the Record. The show will be recorded live, and feature songs Liz has always wanted to record, some of which will be included on the new CD. Come be a part of this exciting event!

“Liz Callaway has a warm presence that has grown richer with age. She’s no cockeyed optimist, though, but a mature woman, totally in command, whose interpretations only get deeper.” — Joel Benjamin, Cabaret Scenes

“Bright sunshine on a clear spring morning: that upbeat weather report describes the voice of Liz Callaway. She exudes the kind of optimism, tinged with yearning, that can’t be faked. A natural upper, she conveys the confidence of a romantic of whatever age who is certain that someday her prince will come. You can’t help feeling a little more hopeful. – Stephen Holden, The New York Times

“The always impeccable Liz Callaway surpasses herself with breathtaking vocalism.”  – New York Magazine

“A sublime soloist.”  – Variety

“One of the best I’ve ever seen! She has a passionate, gleaming-eyed poignancy.” – The New York Post
